Educational Film for Parents
Formica Art Production together with UNICEF and World Vision Armenia is shooting parental educational films on “" target="_blank">Management of childhood illnesses” and “" target="_blank">Child health monitoring and child screenings”. These films are particularly for parents/ caregivers of children 0-5 years and future parents. The films are developed within the scope of "Improving Infant and Young Child Health and Nutrition" project funded by USAID.
Formica Production has already started the shooting of the educational film on “Child health monitoring and child screenings”. The film will inform about the importance and principles of child health screenings. Leading experts in child health and development field involved in the film will present the following topics:
• Why it is important to regularly visit primary health care facilities for child care;
• Child growth and development monitoring;
• Other screenings, including screening for developmental dysplasia of the hip, hearing screening, vision screening, screening for undescended testicles, anemia screening.
